Yes I Can!
The Yes I Can! Awards recognize students from across the province in a variety of areas including academics, athletics, community service, employment, independent living skill and self-advocacy. It also recognizes staff who have gone above and beyond to help their students meet their personal goals. The staff awards include EA of the Year and the Outstanding Teacher Award. From the years 2011 to 2015, approximately 180 students from a variety of school divisions across the province were recognized at the Yes I Can! Awards. The students and staff that were awarded came from various divisions including but not limited to, Winnipeg School Division, Sunrise School Division, Interlake School Division, River East Transcona School Division and Division Scholaire Franco-Manitobain. Watch for current Yes I Can! Nomination information on our website each fall. Presentations take place in February in conjunction with our Annual Conference and AGM.
